I'm curious, if they do a lot of layoffs Monday Nov. 9, they provide two weeks notice to you. Your last day would be Monday Nov. 23 (right before Thanksgiving). I'm assuming this would save HP by not having to pay out 2 holidays (Thanksgiving, Day After). Nice HP, way to keep it classy.

I heard in order to reduce cost for HPE, 3par storage and switch devision will ship jobs to india or other country gradually. HPE believes that is one of the best ways to survive longer..
i thought they r meaning to lay off 30K over the 3 years period? wondering how this Nov 9 date came up?
