The Dean and President at Sacramento are buddies so they run a dog and pony show for upper management but their actual skills and lack luster resumes would not get them a real job outside the EDMC system. None of the students like the service they get there but it never rings up the ladder because of those two guys running the show.
Chicago will weather the storm, they always do. Its like some kind of bewitched troll lair. Despite numbers being the lowest in years, faculty (what is left of full time) being asked to teach 4-4-4-4 with no pay increase, and the lack of quality adjuncts. I am amazed that this pit is still alive, administration is rude, devious and unprofessional. Former President Ray was only here temporarily. He will still be overseeing Chicago, technically, and a woman that will remain unnamed here for the sake of some evil sinister force seeking out vengeance such as in "Candyman" if I say its name more than once, will be lurking in the halls pulling seniority rank among the minions.
Campus President from Chicago is now at Schaumburg campus. You think he knows something that caused him to leave the downtown campus and head to the Schaumburg school? Coincidence I doubt it.
So, Chicago IS closing, then?
Dude, you need to put the Kool aid down and open your eyes. Corporate don't just make shit up. It's already in progress. Just very quietly so not to really notice.. check out the list of people that already jumped ship. You don't abandon those kind od salaries for no reason.
Boy it is ridiculous to see the comments here:
1) Pittsburgh is not anywhere NEAR closing so stop making up crap!
2) Colorado IS turning around if you know what their numbers are!
3) San Diego is also so far away from closing it's not funny!

Wasn't Colorado on the original list of closures a few months ago? Seems like they made the cut last time but might not survive the next round, unless they've turned things around.
Dean of Student Affairs at Orange County was fired. Associate Dean was let go. President resigned. Been without a Dean for months.
Heard a rumor Sacramento was closing, but cant verify. It hasn't been around that long and its in the middle of nowhere. San Francisco has real Art schools only about 3 hours away.
Who was fired at OC?
Chicago- downtown! Overhead is too high. EDMC will follow what ITT did a long time ago and pull out of the inner city.
have you heard anything about Orange County closing? There is no one left in leadership since they just fired the last Exec Comm member
