I heard that the Houma TST/CPL base cancelled their CHRISTMAS party because management requests, but have decided to boost morale by hosting a LUAU party at a local distillery.

I have a common sense suggestion to the SLB management. If you are going to layoff another 10-15% of SLB personnel. Why not implement a temporary pay cut across the board @ 10-15%. (all Management and lower level personnel)
When business picks up; reinstate back the salary cut to the SLB personnel plus add any merit or bonus that might be appropriate given.
Its a win-win situation for all part concern.

Well I don't know about the Xmas party. But over here in Youngsville louisiana slb sending us to golf tournament, fishing trips and skeet shooting.
