They told us we will be ok and this is a good move. They tried to make us feel great that this would be a good acquisition for slb. Then bam blind sided after 5.5 half of my life dedicated to a company that not once cared about any of us from day 1. I thought I was safe because I did what I was told and some pulled my weight and helped others who needed it ans went above and beyond on several occasions. But all this company cared for was $$$$$ so what they do? Cut everyone who who hugh paying and small people that didn't matter and kept cheaper wage folks who will do a shit job anyways. They cut people who had 10+ years invested. Run run run if you know what's good for you... another round of cuts will be inevitable so start looking for other opportunities

Cameron Valve employees, I can relate Mid States Supply has Laid Off over 150 employees Nationwide, starting back on August 14, 2015.
Closing Branches, & recently as of last Friday have Laid Off 12 more according to union representative, Its not good news I know, I have been searching the web for any information regarding any company or companies associated with mid states to try to understand the depth & magnitude of this massive problem that is plaguing this country. Understood. But why keep a truck, tool, or copy machine that does half the work? Doesn't make sense when things pick back up, in a year, two, three, however long it takes, that another one or two people need to be hired to replace the ONE that was let go. Makes perfect business sense to me. Evidently that's why Jack got the hell out for the money and abandoned ship. Cameron cares? Lick my Frickin crack you lying, backstabbing, don't give a fukin flip about anybody but yourself, twelve sandwich a day eatin, no caring, blow smoke and hope everyone believes. Like it or not, Cameron, and any other publicly traded company for that matter, obligations are to shareholders. The people who invest and give the capital to those corporations. The loyalty isn't and shouldn't be to employees. They are just a cost no different than tools, trucks, office equipment or any other cost. Harsh, but it's just the way it is.
I hear you we herd the same thing every week made sure from day one I was putting out more work then the others but it didn't matter they keep the lazy ass people that didn't make shit and hell even people hired a couple months ago Cameron on cares about there pocket not the people that breaks there back for them to make the Chiefs look better
