It's really a tough day for anyone with a college degree and would have thought that joining a great brand like intel would make their future secure to go through unexpected and shocking layoffs. Especially, when they have a huge mortgage on house and cards. Without money, this world doesn't value any human.. That's the fact. So, if you got the severance from intel and are still unemployed, think about starting something on your own. You can rear chicken, cattle or even horses. Else, get into some other challenging field like real estate, which will definitely help you come out of the lethargy and weekday blues that you would have faced working at intel. For those having the thought that the world owes them a lot of money and they are still unemployed, big-box stores like walmart and target are always in need of folks to open the large delivery boxes and arrange the products on shelves. You might have to work during the night hours and can easily make $15 an hour. Of course, this will not be an easy job like you had in intel where most of the days will be WFH for silly reasons and the actual work that happens would be work for home. Anyways, its good to see too many useless and highly paid folks being shown the way out. Let this be a realization for the upcoming generations to not take any company for granted. Happy jobhunt out-of-work folks

I don't think the OP is a gr 3 RCG, though I do think the OP should be no higher than a grade 3 with that attitude. I think it may be somebody who is at a higher grade level and has gotten negative feedback in the surveys and thinks the feedback is from the older people under him. He can't handle the reality of the situation (his ineptitude) so he's bitter at the old folks. Hey OP, do us all a favor and move on. You're stuck in a rut....there's more to life, try to enjoy it!

This slavery will not end until we get Green Cards and move out to other better industry. We the slaves do what our managers at Ramp asks us to do, and no life - always on call 124x7 for 3 consecutive days. Sometime it's better to be laid off and try hard to land on a new job. As a process engineer at Intel PTD and Ramp, you'll own an Intel tool, but in return, INTEL OWNS YOU, YOUR PERSONAL LIFE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN SLAVES!!!!!
Buddy, you don't have to hire my people.. Your boss's boss's boss will decide to kick you out and give away the work to my guys. Our guys are smart enough to pick up any tough tasks within weeks and will run the show.. Of course, we will not be 100% perfect at the very beginning itself, but will certainly pickup really fast.. And if you believe the folks that were let go had tons of knowledge, let it be with them. If the organization doesn't need the "so called knowledge", then take it home and keep in a safe place :)

Having hired RCGs recently you're wrong about gr4/5. It depends on the functional discipline and the school and the candidate. The OP is the RCG name-calling hate-for-oldsters character. And he is a Gr3.
