How long until next layoff?

Or maybe rather than an organized "event" they pick off people slowly over the next few months?

Sounds like the FInance/IT is a major issue...who is the Exec in charge of that group? Maybe he/she should be the 1st person laid off in the next round.

Unless prices spike, expect an announcement February/March. Annual report and Falklands drilling will be complete, and Noble will announce a reorganization. Several director and above "retirements" will happen around March. There are too many corporate employees in IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Security, and Government Relations for a company this size. Execs in charge during the overstaffing should be fired.
