Like a dork I am still holding the stinky bag of depreciated CHK stock. My CHK position used to be worth $350,000, but now it stands at less than $50,000. I did sell a few hundred shares back in February and just recently bought 2,000 shares of KBIO on a hunch at $7.56 a share as it was rising. Made a few bucks on that trade but now it might be time to dump KBIO as well. The guy running that company, Martin Shkreli, is a real scumbag.

Hey Chesapeckers,

I've already bought thousands of shares from the smart ones. Don't hang on forever. $0.25/share is where your headed. Sale to me now and thank me later. I promise the "bonus" you'll get from me will be well worth it..if you know what I mean

It is really sad what has become of CHK stock... I own a significant amount and it really does not get to me since I'm young and I'm not banking on a 401K. I feel for the older guys in there and who are getting burned by bad timing. Had they retired 3 years ago, those are the guys who were lucky and timed it well. Guys like Tom Price who rode the coattails of AKM and are rich are very very lucky people. It takes luck to win sometimes even when you do everything right. Try to keep your heads up everyone over there. A lot of good people still left from the glory days. Don't worry, your layoff is coming and when you look back you will realize getting a severance and moving on is the best possible thing that could have happened to you in this situation. Own the situation, don't fear it. Establish contingency plans now and network like there's no tomorrow. Good luck guys

The people laid off first were actually lucky compared to the ones that escaped the layoffs. Easier to find a job and hopefully they cashed in their CHK stock.

Blah blah blah. The whole industry is down over 50%. Oil is closing at 8 year lows. CHK has MORE DEBT than its peer group And we are surprised that CHK's stock is in the toilet!?! lol.
