Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Bakersfield's California yard, a bottomless pit for money.

When are they going to get rid of Alex Gutierrez poor Management skills in their Lab? He got there because his "Pop's" and Soriano's influence back then. Look well into over staffed Lab. He couldn't make it in the Police Academy because of his criminal record as a Cholo in L.A's streets and settled in a handed job to him. He is the biggest waste of money in the yard. Maybe next?

Yeah sounds familiar. Alex sadly got that position because of Nepotism. He never achieved even 2yrs in College or seems qualified for the job. Almost anybody else in there can run that Lab way better than him. I am surprised he is still there.

Examples of what constitutes cyberbullying include communications that seek to intimidate, control, manipulate, put down, falsely discredit, or humiliate the recipient. The actions are deliberate, repeated, and hostile behavior intended to harm another.

Stalking online has criminal consequences just as physical stalking. A target's understanding of why cyberstalking is happening is helpful to remedy and take protective action to restore remedy. Cyberstalking is an extension of physical stalking.[57] Among factors that motivate stalkers are: envy, pathological obsession (professional or sexual), unemployment or failure with own job or life; intention to intimidate and cause others to feel inferior; the stalker is delusional and believes he/she "knows" the target; the stalker wants to instill fear in a person to justify his/her status; belief they can get away with it (anonymity).[58] UK National Workplace Bullying Advice Line theorizes that bullies harass victims in order to make up for inadequacies in their own lives.[59]

There are resources dedicated to assisting adult victims deal with cyberbullies legally and effectively. One of the steps recommended is to record everything and contact police

From Wikipedia, An action of slander required the following... #1 and #2 is the hurdle, as opinions are protected by the first amendment. It's different if what was said was, "Alex did this... Alex did that..., etc", whereby the actions were indeed false.

  1. Actionable words, such as those imputing the injured party: is guilty of some offense, suffers from a contagious disease or psychological disorder, is unfit for public office because of moral failings or an inability to discharge his or her duties, or lacks integrity in profession, trade or business;

  2. That the charge must be false;

  3. That the charge must be articulated to a third person, verbally or in writing;

  4. That the words are not subject to legal protection, such as those uttered in Congress; and

  5. That the charge must be motivated by malice.

An action of libel required the same five general points as slander, except that it specifically involved the publication of defamatory statements.
