I'm weeks not even months from leaving. Anyone who feels differently is just scared they won't be able to find a new job due to lack of skills or results to point to.

@EO1ShXe-5cpc - RC I knew like the messiah you would speak to the masses. Bravo!
Bottom line... it's all about the money from BC to MM to VP's, MGT and to all PG's/Levels in between. Each and every one of us will do what ever it takes and throw whom ever we can under the bus all for the $$ ~ integrity - collaboration - partnership - team work are all catch phrases we give lip service to but do NOT believe in nor do we practice, unless of course it suits us to do so... I wish everyone would stop pointing fingers and calling others out Each and every one of us lack integrity and are in it for the money if we were that unhappy or disillusioned we would leave...but here we all are...drinking kook-aide so shut up and drink up!
I'm currently in a role with no clear accountability or objective, on a team with leadership that does not give sh*t....for some reason I'm supposed to? Please, not!
I was going to leave but now that I know we are going from 40 Pay grades to 10 levels and that is going to solve all the problems, I'm staying. Thank you JK.
Then leave.
Bu-bye. The stock price will plummet when you leave.
Wednesday at noon. DevOps meetup at Sweet Basils. Drinks on RC, joke on us all when he gets promoted, but won't be a surprise. Leadership promotes who ever can tell lies the best, waste the most money, divide not unite people, and leave the most bodies in their wake. RC for CIO!
Corp systems is totally leadership absent from VP to Engineering manager level....mostly throwing hands up and hoping individual contributors can save their a$$.
OP - I am right there with you and agree that it will be a bit scary, but time to start looking
