Gulfstream is one of the biggest company's in our area so when they are forced to do a layoff it makes big news... But most people don't realize that for the amount of employees they have in are area it's not that big of a layoff... Other company's have let more people go percentage wise than Gulfstream has in years... Good luck to all...

I guess the idiot that wrote this did not get laid off like some of us did, because if he did I am sure he would have said not that big of a deal.
Pretty shitty to pull this immediately after Thanksgiving and just weeks before Christmas. Couldn't these asshats have done this after the new year? How about just a little compassion and respect for....Ah nevermind...Never happen at Griefstream.
The explanation we got about being close to Christmas was that is no good time for a layoff.

Man you don't know how it feels till you have to explain to you're little girl that is you're world..... Man it would tear you up inside.
I think what most people are upset about, And I am too. But imagine if you had a family and you had to look in you're wife's face and tell her you guys can't have a good Christmas and then explain to you're daughter why no one is getting the gifts they want or any at all. Man it's two in a half weeks before Christmas.... That was a shitty decision on Gulfstream. Agree?
