It's a pretty good company unless you work in IT - Would hate to be the new CIO and have to clean that cluster f--- up - Amazing what a debacle it is and just how many managers have no idea what they are managing. I'm simply amazed that company can build and get an airplane to fly.

The management is to blame, not the teams. The teams have brought the attention of everything you listed and much MUCH more, but management not only ignores us, but forbade us from doing ANYTHING extra. Also, VMware does not do self deploying software, it just virtualizes the OS, you are thinking of SCCM which they did bring in, and decide not to pay those guys squat to do the job..
And to be clear, those "make the money" guys are paid at least 50% under market value, the managers of the guys getting bank, the only reason Gulfstream was able to run AT ALL was because we had no less than 15 guys working 100+ hours of unpaid OT a month.
Management in IT totally suck..no plan. The enterprise architect has no clue.. VMWARE and wr don't do snapshot backup no self deploying software. No clue about sharePoint. The biggest think is they make the money .. sad
