Normally Schlumberger is the bellwether for the services industry. Halliburton and Baker Hughes will surely follow with their own layoffs.

They have already gutted both companies in preparation for their merger. There won't be much left when the deal ever goes through. HAL screwed up big time buying those worthless pukes.
We will see about that. If the deal goes thru there will be no Baker.
