Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Next round of layoffs?

Target.com got too many people.. Multiple teams are doing the same work.. When do we see layoffs in this area.. The only way to progress in this area is to layoff people who dont have work..

Wish i could say I felt bad for Target but if your strategy is to layoff your expensive and best resources then of course you will continue to have breeches and failed inititives. Keep it up target I salute you.

You are there for lawsuit protection only and so all the leaders can tell there teams they have nothing to do with layoff decisions

I am not sure why Bain is given the vote of confidence. All our decisions are made based on what makes financial sense. Last-in, first-out approach for layoff but most importantly we will recommend a pg17 to be let go before a pg15 if they perform the same job. Same for those who are at the 90% of annual compensation. Skills can be found at a more affordable cost somewhere else. The more money we make for Target, the more they will use Bain. Team members? Just resources. They will find another job.

Why does Target use Bain anymore. Nothing like paying people to make bad decissions. Common can't you see they have never led you down a good path

Bain is scheduled to identify duplicate roles by mid November. Followed by rock paper scissor exercise where losers are handle either juice box or DevOoops stickers based on location.
