Any of you know how difficult it is get rid of a poor performer in stores right now? PDDs, counselings, warnings, final warnings.... really? How many chances are there? Besides the PMTs are already unionized. Has that made stores any more difficult to be "fixed?" I'd say getting parts from SAP, dealing with Maximo, and unclear RedWire directives do more of a disservice than unionized PMTs.

@157798: Ironic as Target's own internal rules for poor performers are exactly the same, regardless of if you are a shitty CEO (Gregg), a shitty CIO (Beth), or a pee-on. This company would rather hold a poor performer's hand than ensure we have the right people.

"makes getting rid of under-performers impossible to get rid of" ----This is the sole reason I don not support unions.

That career death was my experience at Target.

And not even all team members get to be part of union. Nothing says "all of us" like "some of us". Having worked in grocery store with union, nothing spells career death and inefficiency like being locked into a union that limits what you can do, makes getting rid of under-performers impossible to get rid of and ensures you get docked (and the money goes to the union) for every little infraction in the contract. The only job that need unions are those that involve life and death safety. Everything else (like pro sports, airlines, grocery) is just stupid.
