157309 - you are exhausting to listen to
900 bottles of CHK water on the wall, 900 bottles of.....
157182 - I second that. It gets exhausting that people assume when you don't have kids, losing a job has less impact. We still have mortgages and insurance to pay, and if you're single you have only your income to rely on.
I worked for a company that picked up some of those laid off in 2013. Man there were some serious turds in that bucket. Fing hell....biggest waste of hiring was to existing employees moral who had been in the trenches only to have some newbie come in and act like they knew what the f was going on. 6 months later, the turd was demoted and left. F*** Chesapeake for instilling a HUGE sense of entitlement, authority and skill.
Why are you more worthy of a job because you have a family?
Anonymous157049, hopefully they'll be among the 900 this time and not the hard workers with families.
The losers...whatever. Back in 2013 there were at least 3 or 4 pieces of complete dog shit stayed around, it was pathetic.
Yeah, maybe Monday! Then, Tuesday through Friday will be constant executions! 1,500 employees gone by the 25th.
EHS meetings cancelled for next week.
Relax! It's 900 people company wide only about half that at corporate. So, like the last layoff only the losers are going to be laid off. They will start on Tuesday but have the dead weight out by Friday at the latest.
Implying I'm leaving not all my friends leaving.
Are these 900 leaving Tuesday or Friday? I'd like to plan my goodbyes. I'll miss a lot of great people.
Heard same as well
You may be there on Monday but I heard from a solid source 900 leaving next week.
