Maybe the people rooting for layoffs want to work for a company that produces positive earnings and sustainable results. You on the other hand, just want to collect a check. Newsflash, if nothing changes and CHK continues as is for 3 or 4 more quarters, nobody will be collecting a check from CHK because it won't be a company anymore. It will end up like SandRidge, which won't be around by the end of 2016.

I am in the Land and have been hearing 900 for a while now. However, I have have a hard time believing it when there still are so many contractors in the counties that Chk is paying $400/day to drink coffee.
