Market is pretty close to peak. If there are more layoffs or interest rate hikes, more people will sell prices will fall.
People outside Q don't realize this.
Interest rate hikes are the thing that also causes price drops.
You will need all the cash you can get to buy a new home in a new city.
Check to see if you can still rent it even if you move out of the country. As long you pay taxes you should be fine. Then, years later, when you feel it is the right time to sell, visit the US on a business visa and complete the selling deal
