I was just now notified. Feel bad for my Director who himself is also on the list and yet he has to deliver this news to 5 people in the team. The HR person was very patient explaining the details. My meeting ran over an hour in total. At this rate wonder how QC will even layoff 500 people. For me it is a big relief, I now know where I stand and I can apply for a new job freely. Starting tomorrow I will be looking for a new job during work hours.
