I feel sorry for you folks north of the border. Another "successful" acquisition story by SLB corporate. Send up Houston managers known for blind and ineffective management styles. Engineers do not make great managers, even if they have a masters degree, wear cowboy boots, or increase workplace diversity. Houston Campuses were hit hard by layoffs. The same cowardly management that did the chopping ran up up north to new acquisitions, purchase and lock down the IP, then slash the headcount. Once they are done chopping heads they will head back down to South Texas where the weather is warmer — they were never supposed to last long in Canada to begin with.
