Totally true....remember, these consultants are commissioned off of the heads they take out of any company no matter the quality or the carnage they leave behind and are destroying America. They continue to push off-shoring and bringing in H1B's to replace workers when these families did not fight for generations for the opportunities that exist today in America. They are getting Opportunities on the backs of our fathers and grandfathers that gave their lives for this country - and now our sons and daughters. It's an absolute shame.

So true. These guys can destroy a business in a heartbeat. (Smith Bits). And upper management thinks they're geniuses because they save them money. But they still can't figure out why we're no longer #1.

If you think business consultants didn't cause this entire layoff mess, you would be kidding yourselves.

Who else is responsible for making things more "efficient" and "lean"? That is what they are paid for...to improve profits and turnover. Introduce these guys at any corporation, and you see exactly what you are seeing in the so called "Transformation". A bunch of suit-wearing professionals showing what to improve, make faster, and use more without any actual hands on experience but reading a few books and searching available databases, when they have near-to-nothing experience in operations or technical matter. The best part is they hold no accountability. If things turn out as expected, they parade their "strategy" around. If things don't, they blame it on work culture or the economy.
