Bridgewater, Somerset, NYC, Morristown, Wilmington (DE), Durham (NC), Warwick (RI), Greenville (SC), Tampa (FL), Boston, Long Island, Clarks Summit (PA), Bloomfield (CT), Cary (NC), Charlotte (NC), - if you work at one of the locations listed there is a good chance you may be affected by the cuts. I do not think we know how big this round will be but I also heard that there may be layoffs in Q1 2016. Just rumors and my opinion right now, so take this with a grain of salt. I know for sure that they want to control IT spend and going after salaried people makes sense. I do not agree with this approach, but the fact is, this is what we are up against right now. I have been with MetLife just over two years so I would not mind to move on, but there are many folks who work with me that are close to the end of their careers and MetLife is the only company they worked for. Good luck to all.

I heard the same thing about across-the-board layoffs for IT in 2016.
Cary's been hit already
