WFT just presented at the Barclays conference, and this was included in their presentation. You can view the presentation on the WFT website under Investor Relations-Presentations, on page 8.
They announced that 98% of the previous 11,000 layoffs were compete as of September 2nd. Now targeting 14,000.
It will be very interesting to see the HR Insider figure, the next time he / she posts. Last post was 17305.
We can only hope when the takeover happens they remove B.D.D.'s incompetent ass

Honest Jon is right takeover is on the Horizon outside purchasing has all but stopped inventory is being pulled from all facilities, WAIT just one question how come they have never done this before getting into $7.8B of debt? Maybe management can answer that.
3000 is just the start. More downsizing, streamlining, cost cutting or whatever phrase you care to use. This is your very own management making WFT an attractive takeover option by the day, while feathering there nests with millions of $$$. Smells rotten and the stink is pervading in every WFT office, shop and yard.
