Sitting around at CHK waiting to get fired is a lot like the poor Jews standing in line at Auschwitz. Right now you're gathered in the shower, cold and naked, just waiting for the gas to be turned on. It isn't much fun -- I went through the same thing. The separation package is no consolation, really. The pain of a layoff will last for a lifetime because you will be aware that you were cast to the curb like so much garbage. The thing that I remember most in 2013 is how I went from "proud to be CHK" to really disliking the company. My first action after being laid off was to sell all my vested CHK stock. If a layoff happens to you, this is last stock you will ever want to have in your portfolio. Instead of rooting for the shares to go up, you will watch the ticker tape and hope for the worst as I have.

Wow, someone has a warped view of their reality! A concentration camp, really? I don't even need to say how ridiculous that comparison is. You have been blessed with a good job, maybe you should be thankful for that.
The OP might have been a little extreme but I get the point they're making, it's rough especially when you tried to work hard and put in extra time staying late or coming in on the weekends and then they just toss you to the curb. Regardless of it being "just business", it hurts.
Bitterness smells on anyone. You aren't the first or last to get laid off in corporate America. Get over it and move on.
Troll your own posts much?
Hey, Anonymous148266, you retarded f***ing moron, I'm a Jew and did not take offense to the original post at all. You, motherfucker, are the one that needs to have your head examined.
F*** you, Anonymous148307, you cold-hearted pig. That person's original post was a true insight into how it will feel when anyone gets laid off.
What a pathetic human being. No wonder you got laid off. Have fun living a resentful and crappy life, seeing how you got laid off over 2 years ago and you still feel the need to troll this site.
Just ignore the rude comments. Wait till their laid off and see how they feel. You do have to move on, but I can understand the bitterness.
You are one miserable f***. I'm sure you're a blast at parties.
You are a sick f if you can compare the hardship of getting laid off with the experience of being exterminated for your religious beliefs. What the f is wrong with you?
A little butt hurt bud
