Living under this pressure day in and day out its inhumane. I cant concentrate and be productive if everyday I freak out that I might be on the blacklist and my family will go trough tough times. Why cant they just give us a 2 weeks to a month notice so we can put our ducks in a role? For whomever up there that let it leak I really don't like you right now!

This is the worst kept secret ever and unfortunately it's having a very negative impact on the employees. Everyone knows it's coming yet the corporate drones just keep giving the same tired 'just keep your head down and keep working' type of response. You can almost taste the tension over the past few weeks, it's really sad. Poorly handled.
I started putting my ducks in a row in 2009 after the last huge layoff. I feel I could have a 50/50 chance of coming home early tomorrow. I'm in a OPEX heavy team and over 50. Those are the groups I have seen cut hard in the past layoff.
