Laid off 9/1 -- end of employment date set for 10/31. What happens to package and all, if job secured prior to 10/31?

If in the U.S. the only way your package would be compromised is if, in some weird and magical way, you were rehired by Target in another capacity (e.g., you can't rejoin TTS for 90 days but can land a job in Marketing). In that case your package would be prorated and you'd get less. Land a job anywhere else not Target, you get a nice nest egg to put in the bank. Cheers!
No impact to package. They are not going to hold your notice period money.You can request any specific date to be on your relieving letter. All the best
