Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Is TI TTS has only 40 redundant positions?

As like me many were surprised by going through the message from MM and Navneet as they both called out the current reductions in TTS were part of ongoing transition and clearly stated "The changes involved reducing several layers within the organization and significantly expanding the number of newly defined roles" but are they both thinking as TI TTS has only 40 redundant positions, and by eliminating only these few numbers would organization going to achieve the goal of transformation and elimination of high bureaucracy which is deeply rooted.

My point here is, still there are more dumb and corrupted managers in TI across TTS in all levels and when they are kicked out to give feel about real and truthful transformation for real techies who doesn't know anything about corrupted bureaucracy and only knows technical stuff.

Why I was referring corrupted bureaucracy here is as everyone feels even this round of layoffs the victims were hand picked by their corrupted managers/bosses as there were few very real good technical people were targeted even though they well suited for Scrum roles.

I am sure if this corrupted bureaucracy is not going to stop and carrying this into future Target will going to see other data breach like incidents and more failures even worse than past.

filth from drainage still exists as all delivery managers got converted to engineering managers at TI. Some of the even wearing EC caps. No scope for technical folks as fake managers rule tech folks. What a fate? Some how technical folks are always sidelined or given no importance by TI leadership but layers live like parasites on tech folks. What is the use of transformation if you plan to maintain the same filth at TI. All the filth got safe guarded by leadership. I can show many many filthy managers all hidden under new roles with the help of leadership because leadership donot want merit or tech folks.
