at LEAST WE ARE working here in accounting. Don't know what is the problem and why we get so much flack. We keep the company going and we work hard hours.
We can all agree that 90% of posts on this board are from bitter ex-employees
LOL Accounting at CHK needs a big broom - clean it out!
Do we really believe accounting is smart enough to handle a holiday and layoff in the same pay period?
@143773 dumb.
Just ask HR....geez why has nobody thought of that yet?! I'm sure they will give us a date and a list of people they will layoff. Wow so simple!
Autumn Lashley in HR probably knows why not email the HR people and ask no one who post on here knows anything
Date from a reliable source? I've heard end of September?
Yeah, definitely start taking stuff home you don't want HR to find or pack for you. Like that bottle of whiskey in the bottom drawer.....oopps I've said too much.
Correcton: there is nothing not "theirs". I freaking hate auto correct.
I would think quite a few people would extend their holiday (a few in my group have) so some people won't even be in the office on the 8th. Of course in 2013 some folks were on vacation and honeymoon and got a call so theirs nothing slowly them down I suppose. I already took my personal items home so HR won't need to pack my belongings.
Last time I was laid off was Labor Day weekend. #2008problems
No kidding, it's my dad's birthday too! Happy Birthday, I'm moving in!!
Talk about a long Labor Day weekend that would be..
Great, that's my mother's birthday. I can surprise her by moving in and being unemployed.
