What are we basing the 9/1 rumors on? How do we know we'll have cuts on 9/1?

Leadership has been communicating the 1st week of September for weeks. Based on the pattern that has already been established with previous layoffs. 9/1 seems logical.
Re-posting this from another thread (not my words but I agree):
"The 9/1 date is well communicated. That's the day layoffs are going to be announced and on 9/3 the new org changes. It has been communicated in all KMG forums and has been known for the last 2 weeks."
It has been communicated by leaders already. Maybe in sl e areas the leaders have decided to withhold it. There is no doubt about it. I have been slowly clearing my stuff and backing my things up. It's been known for sure for about 2 weeks.
How do I explain. That is basically a date the one of the so called insiders that post on this board the had originally posted last week of August has decided on. Will be same insiders that say was delayed to 9/8 or 9/15 should nothing happen on 9/1.
