OP. This is the dumbest idea Ive heard yet. Protest on Monday because layoffs are taking too long when they are planned for Tuesday? How about if they don't occur in September like promised then you take action? Think about it.
This is an interesting idea and maybe some people will join you but I remember when the March layoffs happened, there were suggestions about making a statement but no one did, that I heard of anyway, I wore black everyday that week but do that anyway so it wasn't much of a statement.
