We know that Keppel bought the offshore product division, but I wonder if SLB will sell off the Drilling products that Letourneau provides. I keep hearing internal rumblings that GE would be a good fit. Has anyone heard anything to support this?

Attention 179600, you are clueless about what transpired. If you took all the dead heads from CAMERON off the payroll. Virtually all the products that had already been purchased but not built. Cameron stock went hirer than ever before and the upper eshalion sold their stock and are selling the company. Duh you get the idea!
Anonymous179600. That's the problem, Cameron never really payed attention to the product line nor the people who built it, just wanted the brittmore plant ( best property on the beltway). You should look at all of the rigs we have built, we have a lot of product out there and the service alone has kept LTI afloat. Heck we are building 6 rigs in a down market. Tell me how many projects does TTS Sense have? We have the only back log right now. So please refrain from the "LTI was a horrible purchase". And yes I wish Cameron cut there losses a long time ago. LTI would benefit from the not have to deal with the corporate strangle hold and constant reorganizations Cameron has imposed on the product line. Completely mishandled.
Eat a dick Anonymous179600. You know as much about LeTourneau as an eskimo knows about a cactus.
LTI was a horrible purchase. Should have cut our losses a long time ago.
