Laid off today - Big Layoffs at Neiman Marcus Group --- Very sad but true. Many employees lost their jobs today. Over 500 from what I hear. Unfortunately, I am one of them. Hard to understand a retailer that would release loyal employees yet continue to do multimillion dollar renovations and open more new stores.

More Neiman Marcus layoffs today. I was an hourly employee that has been pulling 70 - 120 internet orders a day, consistently. I was part of the working poor, now I am part of the unemployed poor. I do not comprehend what would possess a company to throw away an employee that made less than 13 dollars an hour. My worth to them was far greater than my wage. I was told that my medical would stop on the last day of July, less than one week notice. I reget they did not respect my worth and could not speak to the criteria for why I was chosen, they said it was not related to job performance. Very sad for so many. God help us. 💜🌿
Many 20 and 25 year plus employees lost their jobs in this cut. Pity....all of that knowledge and expertise going to the competition. These employees with this type of tenure have been trained extremely well by Neiman Marcus in the field of Luxury and all that makes it so. Not a smart move.
Worked for them.. They don't value their employees... in fact treat them poorly.. Stanley Marcus wouldn't identify with the company that Ms. Katz has reduced it to
I am also one of the 20 YEARS plus employees that lost there job. Seems like they got rid of the tenure employees.
I knew a lot of good folks who lost their jobs on this layoff. Some with 20 yrs of service. Sad day!
