Thread regarding Noble Energy Inc. layoffs

Used to work for the S. Texas Operations director

Used to work for the S. Texas Operations director and am very surprised he has a job a Noble, ask him any technical question on drilling and he can't answer, he knows nothing about economics or management. he uses every opportunity to bilk the company for his own benefit. very surprising for a guy who barely passed and got an engineering degree at UT and had to go work for a coffee shop, he hired on with Schlumberger when the industry was booming and they would take anyone with a pulse. He was a field gopher and a friend got him into COP where he was an drilling intern. moved over to Rosetta and was friends with the execs and got promoted up because of it. So basically he as just a couple of years of relevant experience. The Eagle Ford assets are doomed under this guy

You are obviously jealous of Permian or am doing some blowing of the Puttster because S. Texas is on the struggle bus headed to underperformville

SNAP! Maybe I should go borrow some of those leather bound books. From what I have seen here so far South Texas seems to be running ok, its Permian that is scrambling and is a HOT MESS. The meetings are pointless and Putt's counterpart better watch out as his days may be numbered if these shenanigans continue. Tell that man to sit up in meetings - it is rude to lay down in a chair during a meeting!!!

Hey, hey, hey, don't make fun of him. He was the highest paid person brought over to Noble and makes more than the manager or director Noble level employees. So, the experienced 20 year Noble director that has a good track record is making less than the previous coffee shop expert. It is a joke but he is laughing all the way to the bank

The deepest conversation that I have ever had with that guy is whether Prince or Pharrell is a better artist. He spends most of his time planning his next event or trip. To put any decision making responsibility in his hands is scary.

I got to walk over to this guys office. I can't take it anymore. Curiosity has gotten the best of me. If he is half as bad as people say he should be first on the layoff list to go

my best memories were of his primping in the bathroom before meetings....the funny thing is that there was a constant stench that radiated from his office from his duck butter, he thought he looked good yet he smelled like road kill

I remember when he just started talking about his real estate rentals in the middle of a meeting. The guy thinks he will be the next trump. He could care less about any company business and is always doing something to further his own self interests. It is amazing that he gets away with it 2

he bought those leather bound books from a guy named Guido out of the trunk of a 1989 Buick Lasabre for $1300.00, they are a 1994 World Book Encyclopedia set. they are vintage and he is confident they will be worth a lot more in the future. plus, the set provides the basis for all his knowledge

the guy is Teflon, he had an inappropriate relationship with a former Rosetta VP and Controller, the VP was fired and he got promoted and that is a fact

Nobody can beat the perspicacity of the aforementioned tiger shark. He went out and bought a dozen black dress socks. Now, everybody will know that he is a changed man. The crisis has been solved and the astute tiger shark can rest soundly. All is right with the world

An accurate post for sure. In addition to that gentleman's multicolored socks, you forgot to mention the company time spent managing his social calendar. I am sure his old coffee shop co-workers would ogle over his socks. He better not have burned any bridges or he will be revisiting his life of pouring a proper cup of Joe

Oh, you have no idea at the level of incompetence this "gentleman" brings to the table. His biggest concern each day is if people will notice his newest pair of ugly multicolored socks. A tiger doesn't change his stripes, and neither does a snake. This guy will throw everybody around him under the bus before he gets his comeuppance

i can verify the post about D. Putt, however it does not matter...eventually everyone gets his due. He now has a chance for a clean slate and to change his ways. It will be up to him if he turns a new leaf. The past does not matter. If he does not want his number called he will start contributing. People make mistakes and deserve a chance to redeem themselves.

Bitter or not the truth is the truth. He/she isn't the only person to point out complete incompetence of Noble Energy employees and management. Incompetence is rampant at Noble Energy and is the reason Noble has performed so poorly the past few years. Near or at the bottom of their peer group. Did you check out your bonus last January? Did you notice how lousy it was?
