Has anyone heard about upcoming layoffs this week?

50 is a drop in the bucket for a company this size. More is coming but mixed messages about if it will happen a little here and a little there or one bigger event. I know that not enough people accepted the VSP and now even more will be forced to accept it.
No layoffs, we will all be receiving our own monkey assistants, this is gonna be so awesome!
The people who are taking the VSP or are being forced to do so are suppose to be gone by end of September
From what I understand there was a VSP voluntary separation package offered based on certain criteria and people were given a time frame to accept it ....some did. The rumor is that they are now forcing those people who fall into that criteria to take a lesser package if they did not take it during first round. I have heard there is definitely MORE this week.
Wednesday announcement, not necessarily layoffs to start
I've heard from multiple people that there was a second round that was going to happen this Wednesday. Just wondering if anyone had heard anything similar or different.
