I remember hearing that mid-September was the time frame for those to be informed of their layoff. Is it exactly on the 15th of September or sometime 'around' mid-September. Also, if I hear nothing around the mid-September point should I assume I'm safe (at least for this layoff)?

Nice that the option is there, what about have to show up when you know your cut, the reaction of team, management. U wants mgr that is laid off write ur review if u not laid off & she is?
Did Michelle Sterling really say that all employees will be working until the November vest date? It would be extremely nice to get that last chunk o' cash. It's likely I'll not have employment for a couple of years (too old to get hired).
Notifications are never done on a Monday or a Friday at QC.
They will most likely be done on Tuesday and /or Wednesday.
Once all the notifications are done and assuming you have not been notified then your manager or dept head will communicate that all notifications have been completed.
This has been the practice over the years in the different QC divisions that have had RIFs.
