Is Weatherford denying use of sick and vacation time? Another post mentioned this and said use of time would cause termination.

I wanna know where do they actually pay out sick time my shop we get 5 days and if your out to bad and no payout at the end of the year.
It's against the law to be told you cannot use your sick or vacation time. They can deny certain days of vacation if it creates a conflict but you cannot be told you can't use it.
What location are you at that they said this today? We were told about them not paying out sick days at the end of the year a month a two ago. It's a way for them to cut cost. Times are bad very bad and not looking good.
They told us this morning to use our sick time because the company wasn't paying out half like they used to anymore. Seems fishy to me. Why would they even say that if they weren't planning on closing down?
no I had a fake sick day off recently ( fake cause they are not paying bonus at end of year) And I had in the past few weeks a paid v day off

They want you to use it. It reduces their monthly accrual expenses. No cash effect though unless you leave the company.
I have used sick day last Friday Aug.14 and a vacation day the 20th
