Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Target is getting a new CFO who comes to us from Express Scripts where she was EVP/CFO.

Does anyone see anything concerning about this list? Perhaps a glimpse into Target's future?

That's one way Finance is different than the rest of the company... How many SVPs do you think there are? It's not like Merch or TTS

The new CFO quit Express Scripts in 2014. What's up with that? All those high powered SVP's in Finane and no one is qualified for CFO.

Horrible employee satisfaction does not appear to have hurt the company’s bottom line. Express Scripts net income has increased each year from fiscal 2010 through fiscal 2014, with the most recent earnings of over $2 billion, Shares of Express Scripts have roughly doubled since the beginning of 2012

CIO - From company which cooked numbers and struggling

CFO - From company with worst employee rating

Partnership with CVS, another company where employees don't like to work...

Tgt is well on its way.

On the other hand, maybe this is why she left Express Scripts. Let's hope she's not bringing this culture with her.
