you are a technical engineer, you won't have any problem to find a job anywhere else especially in SV. But if you are one of those middle manager status-collectors, you will find it very hard to find a position similar to Q that only requires you to periodically say "what is the status?"

Managers and directors will never find another job for sure.
This kind of fat I hope this restructuring should cut but not sure if BCG folks were able to catch this big inefficiency.

Absolutely correct!! That is unique Job profile which only needed in QCOM...All big/small companies have streamline structure and don't need these useless status trader folks ...
