guys, this is jesus. don't worry about anything. i have your backs.
Previously, semiconductor manufacturing business was shifted outside US to Asia (TSMC). Now, even the chip design business goes the same way (e.g,, MTK). Yes, I think this whole business is getting out of US to Asia like all other businesses!
QC should look into integrating their sensor technology with f*** machines. It would revolutionize the industry.
Yes..Big Pussy.
Another word he is a pussy
118160: Jana sympathizers like 118150 don't understand that. Of course, it would help if SM actually grew some balls and just told Jana to fk off, which is what he should do. But he's shown himself to be nothing but a pushover so far. Think about it: really great leaders like Steve Jobs never took crap from hedge fund managers. Steve Jobs would have told Rosenstein to go fk himself. Of course, Rosenstein probably wouldn't have even bothered trying to do anything like this with Apple when Jobs was in charge, because unlike SM, Jobs didn't have a reputation of being a pushover.
you don't need to sell chips to create IP. can probably get by with 20% of QCT operating as R&D and demo platform org.
i know it might be true but in a time like this -hours before the big announcement ,I do dare say you are missing a sensitivity chip .
Have some compassion .
none of BRCM, TI, INTC have high margin, and they have more frequent layoffs
Without QCT engineers filing these patents, how can QTL exist? QTL is not a business, it's nothing more than a department designated by Qualcomm Incorporated for collecting licensing fees.
Chip business is dragging QC down. The only viable outcome is to spin off QCT from QTL. QC’s chip business is all mobile and low margin, unlike BRCM, TI, Intel, etc who have other high margin business. They could get out of mobile to focus on other products. QC has no choice but to stay mobile and continue to suffer price erosion. So, the only choice is to separate the chip business from licensing business.
