If you are talking about the possibility of a huge earthquake of the NW coast (and the New Yorker was hardly the first or most reputable to report this) if you are laid off and leave SD for a more northerly job and it hits you are likely far worse off.

The really big one news???? Greater fear certainly overcomes all the small. Certainly took my mind off all what ifs due to this layoff.
