Not to question the Executive team's logic (hah!), but the former State Farm campus in Woodbury was the same size (700K sqft), with a better location off of a major interstate, closer to the metro core, and with far more development nearby. It took 8 years to sell. Even when it sold it went to a group attempting to turn it into a sprawling hotel campus. Haven't heard lately how that development is going. Sorry, but it looks like the TNC buildings will be an albatross around Target's neck for a while...
I went to the wiki to get a one-sentence answer to 'what is DevOps' but the wiki entry was so up-its-own-ass that I can't repeat it here. Something about being a cult or a professional bowel movement. Look it up yourself if you're still a TGTier.

Not to leap too far ahead but what company (or it could be multiple companies I suppose) would rent the TNC space? It's funny; I can remember when there was hand-wringing about whether TNC would be big enough, now we don't fill it. So who would the TNC campus be attractive to? Besides the geese that want to mate in stonehenge pond....
The clowns in the devops shirt work in that space.
Since Target under this leadership will no longer exist in 5 years, time to start selling all corporate real estate.
