H1bs won't be let go
it would be old people who are long timer in qualcomm.
the reason is simple: h1bs in general are young and work long hours because of visa slavery....
the lay off is to cut cost...

The market can't absorb such a huge number. The market doesn't care whether it can or not. The market doesn't care about you.
This country is beautiful but H1B will not leave for sure, 100%.
H1b's will receive GTFO package to GTFO of my beautiful country.
Also most of the 4k will be h1b's...they will have to f***ing get out of our market and GO BACK their home country...

Most of the cut jobs are within its smartphone hardware business.
Easy, the market is the united states, not just san diego. if the 4k number is right they probably won't all be sd.
