Received 2 checks and found out Intel did not pay me my SPP. I guess BK is hoping we miss that issue, even though it's thousands of dollars, so he can get a big bonus. Joking a side...check to see if Intel reimbursed you your SPP. Three folks here did not receive it.

How is the payout for unused vacation for CA folks calculated? Does it include base pay only or does it include APB target as well?
Whether or not unused Sabbatical will be paid was not a question. The fact is that Intel agrees to pay ISP folks for unused Sabbatical. The question was how this pay should be calculated. Because no existing document describes this calculation, Intel payroll seems shortchanging ISP folks who have unused Sabbatical by not including APB target.
For this situation, those eligible for either the 4 or 8 week sabbatical would be paid for it. This is per the power point presentation given by HR.
Unused sabbatical are not payout. Period. It is in the employee handbook
Logically Sabbatical payout calculation should include APB as well, because one still gets Bonus pay (normally even higher than the Bonus target) if he takes Sabbatical. If you do not get that, you should ask for it.
The sabbatical payout my spouse received did not add the APB to his base salary. The separation payout, however, did add the APB to his base. I don't know why APB wasn't also used for the sabbatical payout calculation.
Related to the butyout payment, I have a question. Does any one know how the compensation for unused Sabbatical is calculated? Should it include Bonus target or not, (Annual Base + APB target)/52 x 8, or (Annual Base)/52 x 8. I thought it is the former, because one's pay is not impacted for the year in which he takes Sabbatical.
Unused vacation should be payout and included last paycheck
in CA vacation is carried over. If you get 4 weeks of vacation per year you may carry over 4 additional weeks.
How do you get 7 week of vacation? Vacations do not carry over and the maximum anyone can have each year is 4 weeks. Unpaid vacations are not paid as part of ISP.
Did you guys get a breakdown letter in the mail on what has been paid? How can you tell you were not paid for your vacation?
You should receive a paper check sometime in August for the amount of money in your SPP account. At least, that was what was said during the power point presentation regarding this whole mess. You should also get one more direct deposit for the second quarter bonus on July 23rd since you were employed through the end of the second quarter. Again, this was what was said in the power point presentation.
