When this cost cutting fiasco is over with, QC will become a mediocre chip company with a cash cow (QTL) that will spin out to maximize shareholder value.

Q is not a average company...
In U.S, the avg. tenure of an employee in a given company is around 8yrs. I guess, for old timers in qcom, it should not be too much distress, rather an opportunity to enjoy outdoors, find new hobbies. cheers
