It is no wonder Target does not know what experiences team members have. They spent all their time seeing if we fit the FFF profile and the assanine behavioral interview questions instead of learning what hard skills people had. Head of HR should be gone.

For my interview process, I had a job simulation at the company on the top of CC. The main thing I remember is I was too busy studying the 20 page fictional company, to do much research on Target itself. That, and the Target hr recruiter claiming layoffs weren't even a part of the Target landscape!
I remember the shrink they had me interview with ~ she had the personality of a cardboard box! Based on the questions she asked me, I remember seeing my assessment once I was hired and had a tough time figuring out how she made her opinions based on a 15 minute conversation....
Yes, I saw this first hand multiple time, particularly with older men. A skilled candidate would be passed over because he/she didn't fit the 'culture'... a perception obsessed, soul crushing culture at that.
