looks like current QCOM CEO is lousy, company is in fast commoditization phase, bloated middle management,rampant corruption.
SM royally screwed QCT growth when he was heading QCT, very short sighted view and no effort to scale management structure for sustainable growth, does he has room to fix it now or its too late?
What you guys think where we will be in 6-9 months?, Can SM deliver or he is just stalling things till PJ returns?

To rebound from the Motorola mess, Google can buy QC and split QTL and QCT. Keep the cash cow and sell baseband to intel and CPU to MSFT. Connectivity and misc. can go to BRCM and MRVL. Keep everything in US and avoid government approval.

Google's CFO will not approve a crap deal....unless SM and PJ not in the deal. Due to the connection SM has in MSFT. It's a done deal if he dare to ask. He will be MSFT's new CEO by threatening leaving MSFT to Yahoo...

Right now thins company is roughly similar to motorola in 2006/2007 ( when their RAZR phone was hot).... Hoping for SM to deliver his magic to turn thing around an not falter as Ed Zander in moto.....keeping fingers crossed.
