Two managers laid me off. When I asked them why they are saying "Due to your poor performance in your focal", which was being read from a piece of paper, when I only received "Successful" or above, they told me because I had received SSL4. Not one word in the 19 years of employment did I ever hear the words "poor performance". Not one word written during my time at Intel was the words "poor performance", "failing", "incomplete" were ever put on word. Yet managers I knew for years used those words and laid me off. Then these managers never said any other words to me other than "turn in your equipment", "sign this document" and "give me your badge" and escorted me to the door. For a person who never failed at Intel, who had great accomplishments at Intel, it was the most humiliating situation I've ever experience. I wish I could sue those bastards into the next century. I've never been a person who supported Unions in the 35 years I've been working...but I support Unions now. This was just wrong in the way Intel and management choose us.

BK is going after SS3 next. Why not just lay off every body except the MCM with their deep pockets.

You learned your lesson. NEVER trust a corporation with years of your life. Loyalty means nothing to them. Even the most vile gangsters show better loyalty than intel ever will. And never go down without a fight, they are not an ex-wife. They are your enemy. My best wishes to you finding a good lawyer.
