Do not ever believe you are "safe". It is just a matter of time.

Prepare now. When you are laid off your insurance will stop within a day or two. Even possibly a few hours.

Get all medication refilled for 3 months even if you have medication on hand. Stay on top of this.

Check on the $4 Walmart list to see if you or your family's meds are on this list. Also contact manufacturing companies and fill out paperwork for assistance for unemployed. You will qualify for free medicine.

Have any 100% paid tests like physicals, mammograms done now....

Get new eyeglasses or shades with your vision insurance now.

Have your teeth cleaned.

See where I'm going with this. These people do not care if you have food to eat. Do not trust them. Trust yourself and your gut feelings. And you will not be able to afford Cobra insurance. Just saying.

All I have seen here is so true. Be prepared. You are nothing more than a number to the bean counters in Houston. I was just a number as well. They cut your throat all at once when they lay you off. Cobra insurance was$1700 per month. I had to take out an independent policy for my wife and kids, $743 per month, medical only. The new Cameron does not care about you or your family! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The old days are over. When you sweat and bleed for a company you expect more from them. Dont hold your breath expecting anything from Cameron. They do not care. And they treat you like your nothing when and after they lay you off. I have been through the lay off, there is nothing easy about it.
