Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Guys, all is OK, just don't worry about 4000 or 5000. Till you get your order to GTFO in the next few, get back to work and focus on your work.

115409: the goal was to PIP or lay off the worst performers, but some of those who end up getting the axe are not necessarily the worst performing, just the worst connected or least social.

They should give out atleast 3 or 4 month notice.

Problem is, that in the process of PIP-ing or laying off the worst performers, JANA is causing the smartest and most creative engineers to leave QC. Have fun developing IO for the IoT with the best of the mediocre, QC.

Nice link, but it was more like a 4-5 year run. And none of the rank and file employees got anything monetary out of it; the mgmt and executive suite siphoned off most of it.

In the latest news, there's a 60+% chance that El Nino is coming for a visit. Your swimming pool might again be full of water, or mud, this winter.

Good to see the average retail investor thinks these layoffs are for YOUR benefit. Well, the ones who get to STFI instead of GTFO. Be sure to tell your kids when they ask why there's no water in the swimming pool this year, and why daddy is selling his Cayenne.

Hey Shithead,

It's a tad difficult to focus on your work with numbers like that floating over everyone's head
