Really, a survey! How sad that TTS leaders don't know teams well enough to assess on their own the right fit or not for new organization. Look no farther than TTS leadership for failed org....as long as they stay, nothing changes for the better.

Ok. Finally took the survey. There is no way they can use that info to determine who stays or goes. It was already decided.
Not giving Magic Mike any benefit of the doubt. He has been given his marching orders from BC and he chose some dumba $$ survey process to make his cuts and bonus. Screw them all.
Everything I've heard about agile/scrum is at best partially used. That said, there should be no one quoting Target use of agile robustly here. Would only be able to quote outside of Target for that, and that is where the bulls&$t starts.
Is say let's give our new mgmt the benefit of the doubt. If he truly is listening and feels our management is out of touch and wants to ensure ALL of our experience is counted, this may be a way to ensure leaders aren't picking their favorites. Mgmt has to also evaluate each person; so when your mgr says you're a box of rocks, but your survey says something different, at a minimum they have some explaining to do.
Yep, team members are testing Target right now with this survey process to see if really being used or just a placebo leadership is applying.
Watch for some lawsuits target leaders coming out of this fiasco.
I think Target will give same severance package to the TTS group coming next (likely Auguat). They don't want to have to explain why different.
I can't wait to see how this is evaluated, people I know are just making things up, both ways.
Right, target is just an employer of necessity at this point. People will do the least possible just to not get fired when working for target from here forward.
This survey has so many people ticked off that even if not laid-off they will leave shortly. Target is no longer is a desirable employer.
So is this survey positioning TGT to be able to FIRE people as opposed to SEVER people?
Any insight as to when the next round will be? Based on the survey questions I week undoubtedly week be one who gets cut. :( hope the bloodshed ends soo ner than later!
This was the most lame exercise I've ever encountered at a compny. Whoever dreamed it up should be fired first.
I believe this is a legal move. As there will be new job definitions they cannot fall back on the position was eliminated. Now it wilnbe based on survey responses we did not feel this individual was most qualified. But you are right answers are bs and never be evaluated
It was a very complex survey about detailed project/process management scenarios that one has led. Completely bullshit. You can lie and say you are the greatest ever, although Target has yet to adopt the principles they are looking for. Or be honest and describe what you have done. I don't think either matters. Decisions have been made and this is a smokescreen. F*** you, McNamara, you Welsh Twat.

I'm not in TTS, can someone give more information about this survey? What is it for, and is it a skill test or more of an interest survey? Is it so manager assessment isn't considered for next moves or something else?

In all my years at Target I never saw one get fired for performance. I saw the work they did not deliver get moved to the person who always delivered to get done. In the end both parties collected a check.

Is it better to take survey, admit you don't have the matching skills and get laid off with severance during RIF or lie and get placed, then fail and get fired with no severance down the road?
