Zaleshepifu,
I recall you from some rotational work in Libya and you are a real nasty piece of work. May God help those who will be working for you in USA

Just so we all get off on the right foot and there is no misunderstanding about our objectives for the company I am banning all employee BBQs. You are all here to work and deliver results for management and shareholders and not use company time for fraternal activities. In Libya we deployed a similar policy and employee productivity increased significantly.
A career in SLB demands struggle. Those who have everything given to them become lazy, selfish, and insensitive to the real values of the company. The very striving and hard work that you must constantly deliver is what will bring us success not employee BBQs.

Urinbunga is transgender and part of a group that were employed to ensure employee diversity as per corporate policy. Schlumberger must reflect the real world.
Well she is now history
Urinbinga is a she
Just heard that Likelotta got canned too, lasted for about 2.5 hours. Who's next? All points to Miniorgan Penetrationiga, a recent EMEA hire with 4 years of experience and a bachelors degree in zoology from the University of Faraway Islands...
It's people like you that make me really miss Urinbinga. What a role model he truly was.
Urinbinga was replaced by Likelotta Buttamass from Nigeria
Really now....you people really think anyone with any clout is on here posting such crap? There isn't a manager..nor a HR person sitting around posting on a site like this. I can't believe people are even replying to the jerk that is jerking your chains! Move on...
WOO! BROWN PEOPLE!
Thanks Zaleshepifu. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we aspire to be fit and highly marinated pieces of SLB meat.
On another subject I hope everyone is coming to the employee BBQ in Houston to meet and greet Zaleshepifu. Please bring a plate of food as the destitute shareholders can barely afford to feed their prize racing horses with organic, hand-clipped kale.
Yes and you can take it or leave it. Those who join the team and understand the rules will be successful and those who don't can go to hell.
We are here to win and deliver - period.
Is this really how a company like SLB operates? I ws actually thinking on applying for a position with them but perhaps not.
I don't believe they would be able to keep their employees
You are truly an inspiration! Thank you!
You must take emotion out of the equation. Of course people will lose their jobs but this is business and only the best survive and to survive we need to cut heads and thats my job. The more we cut the more we deliver to our shareholders and improve my bonus and my colleagues bonus. Did you see the results we delivered yesterday in the earnings conference call? This is a direct result of my job, I am proud of it and our investors are thankful for it.
I will not tolerate underperformance in my group and firing is always best done quickly, clinically and to the point. You leave the company with your reputation and experience of having worked for Schlumberger and you should be more than grateful for that. You either like it or get out - its your choice.
My previous manage told me an employee is a mere piece of meat marinated by the juices of his/her success or not in the company. I the butcher who trims and cuts the SLB meat to ensure it stays lean and fit. No more no less.
I look forward to meeting the team in Houston in due course.

Thanks for your inspiring words Zaleshepifu. I followed you on linkedin because I want to emulate your business strategies. Could you give me some advice on the best way to deal with an emotional employee termination? Also which is your preferred brand of hatchet?
This is Zaleshepifu and I do not believe in open dialogue with employees. You are here to do your jobs or move on.
We live in tough times and you will all get your chance but only the best will survive under my watch.
Its my way or the freeway - you have been warned

The reason is they work much harder for less money and thus it makes good business sense not to mention that the majority of business opportunities for SLB are not in the West
Total discriminations as westerners are being squeezed out of the key corporate postions. The Azeri hatchet man is a good example of an aggressive cost cutting people firer person getting the fast track to a top position.
Go check the executive managent org on the website - it's almost all non westerners
It really makes me angry that they never appoint someone from a Western country to this position. This is obvious discrimenation. Can't you see what is going on here? I guess we are lucky they didn't give the job to an Indian; however, it is only a matter of time...
Don't worry too much. I predict Zaleshepifu won't last a day. Big mistake going to Houston because he won't get repatriation expenses. Does anyone know if he is behind those "missed calls" I keep getting with one ring only and then it hangs up? Country code is Azerbaijan. I thought it might be some kind of scam but maybe he wanted to make me a job offer. I should call back.
Oh no....the "Bloody Butcher of Baku" is coming to Houston? I am out of here tomorrow!!
I heard that Zaleshepifu is a very difficult guy to deal with and not a people person so i am struggling to understand why he has been chosen for this important position. He was known as the "Azeri Hatchet Man" in Baku due to the brutal methods he employed in restructuring his business segment and laying off hundreds of employees. According to what HR told me today this new position is considered a reward for the so called "great work" he did in Baku and a stepping stone to his next position as president of a segment.
My replacement will be Zaleshepifu Aishvenamepa from Azerbaijan. He'll be arriving in Houston Thursday morning for my old position.
Bandunkukugu, who is your replacement? Some people say they move you to a fake position in a country with loose labour laws in order to make redundancy easier, but lets give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they just wanted to promote you then changed their minds?.
Really sorry to hear that Bandunkukugu but Urinbinga left some pretty big shoes to fill.
Hi Bandunkukugu here - thanks to Urinbinga for the intro to you all but I am afraid I have also been fired this morning. After 20 years glorious service to SLB I am truly disappointed to be let go in this way. I had great hopes for this position however it won't happen now. Sorry.
Hi and thanks for the kind comments. I really hoped to meet with you all but it wasn't to be.
I am afraid the termination packages in Mongolia are not so good so I will have to find a job in the local market selling tea to the chinese.
I now understand how you all feel and will pass this on to my replacement in Schlumberger - Bandunkukugu Fachwlauedha who is a D&M Project Engineer from Libya and currently in the process of moving to Paris.
All the best,
UB
Too bad you are going to miss Naadam...
Sorry to hear that Urinbinga. Even in your brief tenure, word has it you were the best Global Employee Relations Director ever! A legend in your short time. Will they pay your relocation back to Mongolia? Looks like monsoon season in Ulaanbaatar. Well, you know what they say...when it rains, it pours. I'm sure someone with your skills will do quite well.
Hi,
This is Urinbinga. I am afraid I just got terminated also.
Great move - where will he/she have his/her office?
How do we contact him or her?
